The Fair Attempts is the dystopian phenomenon of Industrial Rock, exploring themes of the future society we’re unwittingly constructing around ourselves. Each song reveals more of the dark world first imagined by the artist, Friendly Timo. The music has a hard and gritty sound while making you want to dance. Genres blended to create this unique sound include Electro-Industrial, Darkwave and Synthpop, to name a few.

The World of The Fair Attempts has been shared through the music since 2019 and has now been opened up for everyone to take a closer look into the dark dystopian future that’s taking root in our world today.  The Dream Engine album has a companion novel, Dreaming Your Dream by Starwing that reveals the details and experiences of a society managed and controlled by Artificial Intelligence as the human species struggles to survive and thrive again.  AI and humans are partners, just as the novel and the Dream Engine album are.
